'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League return

Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his interest in going back to the Premier League has diminished and he is prepared to explore a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The star striker is currently two years through the four-year contract he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.

The veteran forward has netted an impressive 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German club, playing a key role in them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which was the initial significant trophy of his illustrious career.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has previously mentioned that he would be pleased to see Kane come back to England, where he needs 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England captain has now suggested that he is no longer as keen about coming back home as he once was, and would definitely contemplate lengthening his time in Bavaria.

"In terms of remaining longer, I could certainly see that," he stated.

"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be willing to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so goes and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have learned in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top marksman for both Tottenham and England and recently became the fastest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had avoided him until he won the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would feel after ending his trophy drought, but now thinks it has made him hungry for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
